About the Authors
Addison McKnight®
Addison McKnight is the pen name for Nicole Moleti and Krista Wells. After over a decade of writing nonfiction, their common interests in women’s emotions and the cultural obsession with perfection sparked an idea for their debut novel, An Imperfect Plan. With six jobs and six children between them, they wrote their first book on Saturday nights and on the sidelines of their children’s games. They reside in West Hartford, Connecticut with their families.
Both women were published for many years in a variety of non-fiction genres, all centered around women’s issues, including but not limited to beauty, parenting, life coaching, and military spouse empowerment. Krista and Nicole mutually love writing about what makes women tick, and this transcended seamlessly into fiction. Currently, the pair is working on their second novel highlighting the darker side of the iconic Martha’s Vineyard.
When she is not writing fiction, Nicole is a makeup artist and real estate agent. She was a contributing writer for POPSUGAR Beauty, Spotlyte by Allergan, and Martha Stewart Weddings. Her work has been published in Scary Mommy, Today Show Parenting, and the Hartford Courant.
Krista Wells is a writer, professional life coach, and a public speaker. Her presentations can be found in Marriage, Family and Children conferences, the coaching community, and the Military Spouse community. This year she’s delivering a Key Note Speech at Military Spouse Fest and will be encouraging military wives to stay focused on their side hustles, just as she and Nicole have. She’s written for numerous publications including but not limited to, The Military Spouse Magazine, the National Military Spouse Network’s online magazine, and Toastmasters international magazine.
